Allaire ColdFusion 4.0 is the fourth major version of the ColdFusion web application development platform, released in November 1998 by Allaire Corporation.[1]
Version 4.5[]
ColdFusion 4.5 was announced in November 1999.[2] Among new advertised features were enhanced functionality, UNIX native support, email integration, and a "broad new commitment" to Java.[3] This was the last major version to be released by Allaire before it was absorbed by Macromedia in a merger in March 2001.[1][4]
