Andromedia was an e-marketing developer that created ARIA.
History[]
Andromedia was founded in San Francisco in May 1995 by Jamie Cohan, Scott Capdevielle, Kent Godfrey, Sean English and Logan Bruns.[1] It merged with LikeMinds in 1998.[2]
The company was acquired by Macromedia on December 1, 1999 for about US$280 million in cash and stock.[3][4] ARIA was rebranded as Macromedia Aria, and LikeMinds became Macromedia LikeMinds.
