Erik Neumann is a software engineer that worked on VideoWorks II and developed the Lingo scripting language with John Henry Thompson at MacroMind.[1]
Neumann received a BA in Mathematics from Oberlin College, Ohio in 1978, and an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1984. He was the vice-president of engineering at MacroMind for 5 years before moving on to Apple Computer and then Kaleida Labs.[2]
