3½-inch floppy disks of MacroMind ComicWorks
Floppy disks or diskettes are a removable storage medium in which data is recorded onto a flexible magnetic surface.
Early MacroMind and Macromedia software were delivered on floppies, favoring the 3½-inch version developed by Sony and first adopted by Apple Computer's early Macintosh line. As CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMs became more popular physical media formats, Sony ended production of 3½" floppy disks in April 2010.[1]
