Hayden Software was a software publisher that was spun off as a subsidiary of Hayden Books in 1981.[1] It operated out of the historic Wannalancit Mills building in Lowell, Massachusetts.[2]
The company focused on software for Apple Computer and was the first publisher of programs developed by MacroMind, the predecessor of Macromedia.[3]
