MacroMind-Paracomp was a company entity that was briefly formed through the 1991 merger of software companies MacroMind and Paracomp.[1] Tim Mott was president and CEO of the combined company.[2]
Mergers and acquisitions[]
In November 1991, the company announced that it was acquiring Farallon Computing's SoundEdit audio software, which would evolve into SoundEdit Pro.[3][4] In 1992, MacroMind-Paracomp merged with Authorware Inc. to form what would become Macromedia.[2]
