Macromedia ColdFusion MX 7, codenamed "Blackstone", is the seventh major version of ColdFusion, released on February 7, 2005.[1] It is also the last major release of ColdFusion by Macromedia before it was acquired by Adobe Systems.[2]
New features[]
ColdFusion MX 7 added support for mobile devices through SMS messaging and instant messaging services. Other new features include rich forms and structured business reports.[1]
Releases[]
ColdFusion MX 7 was released in a Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition. Unlike previous "MX" versions, it was not included with Macromedia Studio 8.[1] JRun 4 was included as a J2EE application server.[3]
Support[]
Core technical support from Adobe for ColdFusion MX 7 ended on February 7, 2010, and extended support ended on February 7, 2012.[4]
