Macromedia Director MX was the ninth major version of the Director series of multimedia authoring environments, released by Macromedia on December 17, 2002.[1]
Despite its naming convention, Director MX was not included as part of Macromedia Studio MX as Flash MX had become the more popular web authoring environment.
Features[]
New features included support for Flash MX files, adherence to accessibility guidelines, and support for Macromedia server technologies, such as Flash Communication Server MX and ColdFusion MX.[2]
