Stephen A. Elop is an Canadian business executive, and was the last CEO of Macromedia for less than a year when it was acquired by Adobe Systems in December 2005.[1][2][3]
Elop became president of worldwide field operations at Adobe.[4] His resignation from Adobe was announced on June 15, 2006, though he committed to staying with the company through the end of the year.[5] In January 2008, Elop joined Microsoft as president of its business division.[3]
